Nyaya Health uses Asana to launch the Crowdfund Health Campaign

Nyaya Health, a nonprofit delivering data‑driven healthcare to Nepal’s rural poor, won a $42k Sappi Ideas That Matter Award and faced the challenge of turning the prize into a global advertising and crowdfunding campaign. They needed to coordinate cross‑continental teams, patients, sponsors, volunteers, media, and complex patient onboarding on a tight timeline.

Using Asana as a single project with Sections, Areas of Responsibility, recurring tasks, templates, and Google Drive integration, the team assigned and tracked every step of patient care, volunteer coordination, and campaign execution while dramatically reducing internal email. The result: uploads to crowdfunding partners jumped from about 5 patients per month to over 50 in one month (a 10× increase), enabling a successful Crowdfund Health launch and scalable, transparent global collaboration.
