A Asana Case Study
Fort Point Beer Co., a San Francisco craft brewery known for approachable, design-forward beers, built a formal Partnerships & Community Engagement program to reflect its values and give back to the city. As the program grew into a fully staffed operation working with hundreds of partners annually, the team struggled to scale: tracking dozens of relationships, coordinating event logistics and donations, and preventing work from falling through the cracks while trying to measure partnership impact.
To solve this, Fort Point standardized its process in Asana—organizing partners by stage (outreach, responded, committed), tagging by focus area (art/film, environment, food), and assigning tasks for events and donations. The result was smoother execution and clearer accountability, a shift from mostly outbound outreach to strong inbound interest, stronger partner and community relationships, and improved team engagement and brand advocacy.
