How B Lab certifies and supports B Corps with Asana

B Lab is the nonprofit that certifies and supports thousands of B Corporations around the world and runs programs, events, and content to strengthen that community. Internally, teams were using multiple disconnected tools, which created poor visibility into work, imbalanced workloads, slow marketing campaigns, and limited event production — for example, the events team was only producing one annual event.

After user-testing several platforms, B Lab standardized on Asana and built templates, integrations, role-based training, and team champions to drive adoption. The centralized workflows and custom views gave cross-functional visibility, sped up campaign launches, and made onboarding smoother — enabling the events team to scale from one event to over a dozen per year (12x increase) and letting the organization focus on high-impact goals instead of firefighting.
