A Asana Case Study
FIEC, the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará in Brazil, is a 70‑year‑old non‑profit that supports 40+ unions and 1,400 employees to boost industry, education and innovation. The COVID‑19 pandemic amplified their workload—ranging from PPE development (notably the Elmo Helmet) to community aid—and exposed fragmented tools, poor cross‑team visibility and an urgent need for a platform to manage remote, agile work.
FIEC piloted and rolled out Asana, integrated with Google Workspace and Power BI and supported by training, to consolidate workflows. Within six months 580+ users across 140+ teams created 800+ projects and 70,000 tasks; leaders gained real‑time visibility (including burndown charts), team engagement increased, workflows were standardized, onboarding accelerated, and IT could more easily track and report progress.
