Case Study: EarthEnable achieves rapid scale of sustainable floor installations and streamlined operations with Asana

A Asana Case Study

Preview of the EarthEnable Case Study

EarthEnable installs over 2000 clean, sustainable floors every year with Asana

EarthEnable is a Rwanda- and Uganda-based social enterprise (≈600 employees) that designs affordable, sanitary earthen floors to replace dirt floors and improve health outcomes. As the team grew across offices and field sites, work was tracked in emails, spreadsheets, and scattered documents, creating confusion, poor cross-border communication, and weak accountability—especially because for many staff this was their first office job.

The leadership rolled out Asana company-wide, replacing disparate systems with department-organized projects, task assignments, due dates, and Boards for requests. With strong management buy-in and simple training, EarthEnable improved grant management (more deadlines met and faster reporting), accelerated R&D and rollout of a new backyard-material flooring method, and drove over 1,200 new floor installations—streamlining collaboration, boosting accountability, and speeding delivery to the communities they serve.
