devCAT improves end-to-end game production with Asana

devCAT, a Nexon Korea studio behind the popular MMORPG Mabinogi, faced growing pains when tasked with converting the desktop game to mobile. With about 200 employees across 30 teams, project managers struggled with “black boxing” — forgotten or untracked work — because tasks were scattered across spreadsheets and multiple tools, making planning, workload visibility, and cross-team coordination difficult.

The team adopted Asana, using Rules, Timeline, and standardized projects plus training to centralize work and automate routine steps. Asana enabled end-to-end production management, faster adoption, clearer visibility into progress and workloads, and significantly reduced forgotten tasks while improving collaboration and quarterly planning.
