Aclima illuminates the connection between air pollution and public health with Asana

Aclima is a climate‑tech company that maps hyperlocal air pollution to show how pollution affects public health, publishing interactive, address‑level reports for communities. Their challenge was coordinating scientists, engineers, designers, policy partners, and community groups to launch and maintain time‑sensitive web services and reports—work that previously lived in disparate team processes and slowed iterations and status visibility.

Aclima adopted Asana to centralize tasks, track partner feedback, and run cross‑team projects (often involving five or more teams), enabling a single source of truth for product development and communications. The result: faster, more coordinated work with fewer status meetings, rapid fixes and iterations (including COVID‑19 air impact reports), and improved public services—illustrated by a Richmond–San Pablo pilot that produced over 110 million location‑linked data points and address‑level pollution insights for the community.
