The client, a healthcare operations management vendor responsible for logistics at a leading children's hospital, faced significant inefficiencies due to manual, error-prone equipment order fulfillment and asset inventory processes. These cumbersome systems were spread across different platforms, reducing operational efficiency and negatively impacting patient outcomes. Asahi Technologies implemented a custom software and hardware solution featuring a mobile app with administrator and requestor portals, a MySQL database, and a Bluetooth barcode scanner. This created a single, unified digital system that automated end-to-end fulfillment and provided real-time visibility and inventory updates.
