Motivi, an Italian fashion retailer based in Milan, faced the challenge of low customer engagement with its traditional loyalty program and needed a new way to effectively launch a collection and drive traffic to its physical stores. To overcome these challenges of retention and sales, the company turned to vendor Aryel and its AR technology to create a more interactive and personalized customer experience.
Aryel implemented an Augmented Reality gamification campaign in the form of a "Dress Boutique" personality quiz. This solution, distributed via social media and CRM, allowed users to find a dress matching their style and then view it in AR. The campaign was highly successful, resulting in a 106% sales lift for the collection in stores. Furthermore, 1 in 3 participants collected their in-store prize, contributing to an average order value of €105 and helping Motivi both retain existing customers and attract new ones.
