Wabtec, a global leader in locomotives and transit equipment with 10,000+ employees, was constrained by an MPLS network that hindered growth—lacking flexibility, consistent performance and requiring excessive time and cost to bring up new sites. Deutsche Telekom identified these issues and introduced Wabtec to Aryaka as an alternative.

Aryaka implemented a managed SD‑WAN using a private backbone and internet transport; a proof‑of‑concept at Wabtec’s most problematic locations showed superior performance and reduced management burden. The deployment (including rapidly delivered ANAP devices) enabled faster, more consistent global application performance, quicker site provisioning, lower TCO and single‑pane network visibility.
