A Aryaka Case Study
A multi-billion-dollar global manufacturing company that supplies products and systems for semiconductor device fabrication was operating 50+ global sites on an MPLS backbone and had just acquired 30 more locations. Facing high MPLS costs and heavy hardware requirements, the company needed to reduce its on‑premise footprint, improve agility, migrate to a SASE architecture, and offload management of services and last‑mile circuits.
Aryaka ran a proof‑of‑concept comparing its managed converged SD‑WAN/SASE network to the customer’s MPLS baseline (and other vendors), testing application performance, VPNaaS, firewalls, voice/video metrics, and key apps like Office 365 and Solidworks. Aryaka matched or outperformed MPLS in all tests and was the only vendor to provide full service and last‑mile management, remove MPLS and Riverbed hardware, and enable rapid service changes—delivering lower cost and time, better performance, greater agility, and a smoother, faster integration of the acquired sites (increasing the global footprint by over 50%).
