Case Study: AL-KO KOBER GROUP achieves rapid site onboarding, fewer outages, and lower TCO with Aryaka SD‑WAN

A Aryaka Case Study

Preview of the AL-KO KOBER GROUP Case Study

AL-KO Drastically Reduces TCO, Outages, and Onboarding Times for New Sites from Months to Days by Replacing MPLS with Aryaka’s SD-WAN

AL‑KO Gardentech is a German mid‑sized global manufacturer with about 700 employees and 19 sites worldwide. Facing mounting MPLS and WAN‑optimization costs, slow months‑long site onboarding, frequent and prolonged MPLS outages, and poor Microsoft 365 performance caused by routing public internet traffic through a central firewall, AL‑KO needed a faster, more reliable and cost‑effective WAN.

After a proof of concept in Denmark and China, AL‑KO replaced MPLS with Aryaka’s managed SD‑WAN across all sites and its German datacenter. The rollout delivered faster site onboarding (months to days), zero‑touch deployments, fewer and shorter outages via multi‑ISP failover and improved last‑mile monitoring, lower TCO, reduced Germany‑China latency, and better Microsoft 365 performance through local breakouts and traffic optimization.
