Arxis Technology Re-kindles Energex’s Software System with Sage 300 ERP

Energex, the largest pellet fuel manufacturer in North America, faced growing pains from its legacy DOS-based Sage 300 ERP system: limited reporting, no inventory tracking, and a month-end close that could take three weeks across U.S. and Canadian operations with multiple currencies. To modernize and support continued growth, Energex engaged Arxis Technology to upgrade and expand its Sage 300 ERP capabilities.

Arxis Technology upgraded Energex to a newer Sage 300 ERP release, automating general ledger, AP/AR, inventory control, purchase orders, multi-currency consolidations, electronic interfaces and adding Sage 300 ERP Insights for stronger reporting. The cutover had zero downtime and delivered clear results: month-end close fell from about three weeks to five days, reporting and bank compliance improved dramatically, and overall efficiency and time savings were realized thanks to Arxis Technology’s implementation.
