International Airline needed to securely distribute enterprise mobile apps across a mixed device environment: corporate-owned devices were managed with AirWatch, while a large BYOD population could not be enrolled in MDM. To cover gaps in MDM-only deployments the airline turned to Arxan Technologies’ mobile application management (MAM) solution to reach unmanaged devices and enforce app-level policies.

Arxan Technologies implemented its MAM alongside AirWatch so the airline could deploy policy‑managed, secure apps to BYOD users without MDM enrollment while keeping a consistent security stance for corporate devices. The solution enabled secure app distribution to previously unreachable BYOD users, simplified app lifecycle management, and gave the airline greater flexibility to support diverse device ownership models.
