Power Mechanical, Inc. faced a slow, paper-heavy AP process in which up to five people were involved, duplicate data entry into Microsoft Dynamics GP was common, and invoice cycle times stretched into weeks. To solve this, the company deployed Artsyl’s docAlpha alongside Altec’s DocLink ECM (integrated with Dynamics GP) to automate invoice capture, coding and routing.
Artsyl’s docAlpha automatically extracts invoice and vendor data from emailed or scanned invoices, populates DocLink, cross-references Dynamics GP vendor records, auto-corrects obvious errors and routes exceptions for review—enabling straight‑through processing. The result: Power Mechanical eliminated manual data entry and document uploading, shortened invoice cycle times from about two weeks to five days, and gave the AP team the capacity to scale with company growth.
