Paragon Films Combines docAlpha and Dynamics AX to Automate Its Payables Process and Boost ROI for their New ERP investment

Paragon Films, a Tulsa-based manufacturer of stretch films, was migrating from an IBM AS/400 ERP to Microsoft Dynamics AX to gain flexibility and reduce IT overhead, but its accounts payable (AP) processes remained manual, costly and lacking visibility and auditability. To automate invoice capture and integrate document processing with their new ERP, Paragon engaged Artsyl and deployed the Artsyl docAlpha Transformation Platform alongside DocLink and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Artsyl’s docAlpha was integrated with DocLink and Dynamics AX to automatically identify and extract data from scanned and digital invoices, feed that data into DocLink’s AP workflow, and support automatic PO/quote/invoice matching. The solution delivered accurate automatic sorting, filing and indexing, eliminated manual data entry, improved auditability and gave Paragon Films greater control over purchasing and approvals — boosting staff productivity and satisfaction and streamlining their AP process.
