Kansas Paving, a construction and paving services firm, faced a paper-driven accounts payable process that required heavy manual data entry and filing. To modernize AP, Kansas Paving implemented docAlpha from Artsyl (the docAlpha Smart Process Platform) integrated with their ImageLink document management system and Microsoft Dynamics SL.

Artsyl’s docAlpha automatically captures key invoice data (vendor name/address, invoice number, amounts), files scanned invoices to ImageLink and forwards documents and data to Dynamics SL for processing. The solution created an automated end-to-end AP workflow that significantly reduced the effort and manual data entry required, increased data accuracy, accelerated cycle times, eliminated approval bottlenecks, and improved reporting and auditability.
