How FVTech Successfully Processes Eight Million Medical Claims a Month Using Artsyl’s ClaimAction

FutureVision Technologies, a Salt Lake City–based BPO specializing in document imaging and medical claims processing, needed a new data-capture solution to replace a legacy system that lacked support for UB04 forms and only marginally supported NUCC. To automate form identification and extraction for medical bills, FutureVision Technologies engaged Artsyl and evaluated Artsyl ClaimAction alongside its existing ABBYY tools to address these gaps.

Artsyl implemented a customized ClaimAction solution (running with ABBYY FineReader Engine and FlexiCapture as the runtime) and worked directly with FutureVision Technologies to integrate and tune the system. In full production within two months, the Artsyl solution enables processing of roughly two million claims (about eight million pages) per month and raised UB04 identification from 0% to about 85–90%, with Artsyl providing ongoing support and rapid customization.
