To solve this, Herrick partnered with Artsyl and implemented Artsyl’s docAlpha intelligent process automation platform to digitize and automate packing slip processing.
Artsyl integrated docAlpha with DocuWare to automatically capture, sort, classify, index and upload packing slips, eliminating hours of manual filing and data-entry errors. The solution allows Herrick to manage about 3,000 monthly packing slips more quickly, improves responsiveness to customers, reduces lost-document/fraud risk, and is “lightning quick” compared to the prior process.
