Proctors Theatre, a progressive venue in Schenectady, New York, needed a way to manage fundraising, donor communications, and event-related transactions alongside its busy ticketing operation. Using ArtsMan’s Theatre Manager, the theatre has been able to centralize development work and connect fundraising activities with its ticketing data.

ArtsMan implemented Theatre Manager so Proctors Theatre could run all campaigns in one system, mine ticketing and donor data to rate prospects, track financials, send pledge reminders and receipts, and manage special events and auctions. The result has been major fundraising success, including enough capital campaign support to build a new building, expand the stage, and renovate an adjacent department store into part of the theatre complex, while also streamlining its auction checkout and handling annual ticket sales of $10 to $15 million.
