Increasing the number of test drives for Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo wanted to boost online engagement with Italian consumers, increase test drive requests for its dealer network, and improve website search and newsletter sign-ups. Its existing search tool was hard to use, and the brand needed a more natural way for visitors to find information and interact online. Artificial Solutions helped address this with virtual assistants on the Alfa Romeo website.

Working with Alfa Romeo’s agency DM Group, Artificial Solutions created Giulietta and Tazio, two virtual assistants that guided users through the site and car configurator in natural conversation. The result was faster navigation, higher uptake of the configurator, more test drive bookings than any other channel including telemarketing, and increased newsletter subscriptions.
