Marquette University Launches an Innovative Approach to Information Literacy With Storyline 360

Marquette University needed a scalable, self-paced, and accessible way to help incoming students build academic information literacy and improve their research skills. The university also wanted training that could stay relevant as electronic search tools changed, while reducing strain on limited librarian time. Marquette University used Articulate Storyline as part of its blended learning approach.

With Articulate, Marquette University created interactive Storyline modules for first-year students to learn library resources and research skills anytime, anywhere. The solution saved librarians countless hours of classroom instruction, provided a more engaging learning experience, and gave administrators useful data to improve the program over time. Marquette also shared the modules with other universities through GitHub, extending the impact beyond campus.
