Marquette University Enhances Distance Learning With Articulate

Marquette University’s College of Business faced a scheduling burden for part‑time MBA students who were spending full workdays plus more than five hours weekly in lectures. Associate Professor Steve Crane was asked to find a way to reduce that load without sacrificing course rigor, and selected Articulate Rapid E‑Learning Studio Pro to enable remote, self‑paced learning.

Crane converted 38 hours of lecture into 18 hours of engaging e‑learning and a biweekly blended format, using Quizmaker self‑tests and on‑demand modules (e.g., statistics and calculus) so students could learn at their own pace. The result: fewer student support requests than expected, positive feedback, and plans to redesign the MBA program around blended learning—demonstrating Articulate’s ability to transform instruction.
