University of Colorado Colorado Springs wins 5 design awards for Ent Center signage with ArtHouse Design

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs required a comprehensive signage and wayfinding system for its new Ent Center for the Arts that would match the building's elegant aesthetic while connecting to its theatrical purpose. They engaged vendor ArtHouse Design to create this suite of interior and exterior signage, which also included donor recognition.

ArtHouse Design developed a sophisticated solution using crisp white neon for venue entry signs and a large donor wall with signatures rendered in blue neon, creating a show business theme. This signage unified the visitor experience by incorporating building materials like brushed aluminum and glass. The project was highly successful, earning multiple prestigious awards including a Gold Award for Signage & Wayfinding and a HOW International Design Merit Award, establishing the center as an iconic landmark.
