Benefits Data Helped Wayfair Plan a Successful Open Enrollment

Wayfair, the online home goods retailer, worked with Artemis Health to tackle the challenge of planning a successful Open Enrollment across nearly 15,000 employees in diverse roles and locations. Using the Artemis Platform, Wayfair gained a holistic view of member health, utilization, and needs so its benefits team could identify where employees needed more support and focus education efforts by jobsite.

Artemis Health helped Wayfair analyze medical, prescription, wellness, engagement, and other benefits data by office location to guide targeted Open Enrollment outreach. As a result, Wayfair personalized education, installed telemedicine kiosks in high-ER/urgent care locations, highlighted plan differences for members with high out-of-pocket costs, and promoted fertility benefits where relevant; the analysis also showed that larger jobsites did not necessarily have the highest costs or needs, helping Wayfair target support more effectively.
