Theatre Development Fund launches ADA-compliant theatre search with Art+Logic in 2020

Theatre Development Fund (TDF), a not-for-profit service organization supporting New York City theater, needed to extend its services to mobile platforms and later required critical updates for ADA compliance and a complex third-party ticketing system integration. They engaged the software development firm Art+Logic to create and update their apps and website.

Art+Logic developed the native tkts mobile app, which saw over 12,000 downloads in its first four days. They later architected a fully ADA-compliant website, Theatre Access New York City (TANYC), following WAI-ARIA guidelines and reimagining the UI for screen readers. Art+Logic also successfully integrated a third-party ticketing platform to manage TDF's complex multi-theater business logic. This solutions led to a long-term partnership, with Art+Logic providing ongoing maintenance and support across all projects.
