Sensor Networks deploys 100+ customers worldwide with Art+Logic

Sensor Networks, Inc. (SNI) faced the challenge of replacing manual, point-by-point non-destructive testing inspections in the oil and gas industry with a scalable, hardware-integrated IoT solution. Their technology required a platform that could reliably collect data from thousands of sensors in harsh field conditions—including extreme weather and while wearing bulky gloves—while ensuring high data integrity and security. They partnered with vendor Art+Logic to design and build their NanoSense software platform.

Art+Logic developed a multi-platform solution consisting of a Windows-based tablet app (dataPIMS) for field data collection and a cloud-based reporting platform (webPIMS). To accelerate development, they created a high-fidelity device simulator to enable end-to-end testing before the final hardware was complete. The solution was a success, resulting in SNI securing over 100 customers worldwide, deploying thousands of sensors, and establishing NanoSense as a mission-critical system for monitoring high-risk infrastructure.
