Slide Ranch is a not-for-profit agricultural and environmental education center in northern San Francisco focused on reconnecting Bay Area residents to the land. Facing deteriorating facilities and an $8.3M capital campaign to rebuild and expand programs, Slide Ranch needed to replace paper-based participant records with an electronic donor and participant management system — and selected Arreva’s Exceed! Premier to centralize historical and current donor, volunteer and participant data.
Arreva implemented Exceed! Premier in 2000, enabling Slide Ranch to run targeted outreach (including a May 2002 direct mail to over 39,000 people), track visits, giving history and donor details, and analyze responses in a relational database. With Arreva’s solution, Slide Ranch raised more than $2.5M in the campaign pre-launch, expanded its outreach to lapsed and new donors, and estimates it has doubled the amount raised to date.
