Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor, which supports roughly 1,200 families a year through its two Houses, faced limitations with its donor and guest systems: donor data lived in Arreva’s desktop product Exceed! Premier (with the smaller Mott House unable to access it), and guest intake was largely paper-based or siloed in Excel. Administrative Manager Kathy Baum led the effort to modernize by moving to Arreva’s cloud solution, Exceed Beyond.
Arreva implemented Exceed Beyond and provided hands-on training and support (including trainer Truitt Gossett), enabling about 12 staff—from part-time House Managers to Development Directors—to use a single, integrated system. The change digitized guest registration, centralized donor records, allowed the Mott House to access the database, and let staff send timely acknowledgement letters as gifts arrive rather than in batches—resulting, in Baum’s words, in more accurate records in a shorter amount of time.
