Pacifica Senior Services, a program in the City’s Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Department serving Bay Area older adults for over 40 years (about 700 members, ~200 Meals on Wheels clients, and hundreds attending classes and congregate lunches), struggled with disconnected desktop spreadsheets and no centralized donor/member database. After taking on the Development Director role, Ann Cooney recommended Exceed Beyond from Arreva to streamline data, reduce manual work, and improve volunteer and staff coordination.
Arreva implemented Exceed Beyond and supported a hands-on training lab that, together with Ann’s process documentation, enabled volunteers of all ages to enter data accurately. The move to a cloud-based central database let Pacifica input 500 new and renewing members in two weeks with full transaction and batch tracking, generate immediate revenue and federal reports for commissioners, send timely donor and legacy-volunteer acknowledgements, and feel confident about audits—outcomes made possible by Arreva’s software and customer support.
