Virgin StartUp, launched in 2013 to support early-stage founders with mentoring, seminars and funding (£500–£25,000 per founder), was struggling to collect and manage applicant and contact data centrally. To solve this, Virgin StartUp engaged Array and adopted the Array app—using document upload, email automation and embedded workflows—to replace manual form downloads and scattered storage.

Array implemented centralized document and workflow automation so forms can be sent, returned and processed in-platform and emails are triggered automatically on submissions or workflow events. The change eliminated weekly manual downloads, created a single source of truth and delivered large time savings—making the process “a hundred times easier”—helping Virgin StartUp focus on supporting over 2,000 startups and managing its £30M+ of funding more efficiently.
