LabWare, a global laboratory management and software company with about 200 employees and 15 locations worldwide, needed to move its Microsoft SharePoint environment in-house to better protect sensitive data stored offsite. The company turned to Arraya Solutions and its Managed Infrastructure Service to address the security concerns while keeping SharePoint central to collaboration across developers, engineers, and customers.

Arraya Solutions built a high-availability SharePoint environment for LabWare, including a multi-server farm, custom authentication support, and ongoing managed services for backups, tickets, and application support. In a second phase, Arraya redesigned the SharePoint farm and site structure for easier navigation and future growth. As a result, LabWare now runs SharePoint on a six-server farm with 2 load balancers, supports 170 unique site URLs and more than 400 users, and has greater confidence that its private data remains secure.
