VPLS Inc.’s Krypt division is a global IaaS and hosting provider serving millions of sites and customers from data centers in the US and Asia. Krypt needed a seamless, secure out‑of‑band access solution that would integrate with its My.Krypt customer portal, be customizable for tenants, and scale across multiple, geographically dispersed data centers—capabilities their legacy hardware SSL VPN and evaluated open‑source options could not adequately provide.

Krypt deployed Array Networks’ vxAG virtual secure access gateway, whose XML/RPC APIs enabled tight integration with My.Krypt and extensive customization of user portals. The virtual appliance was easy to test and migrate to production, licenses weren’t tied to specific resources, and the solution delivered on‑demand, scalable secure access with improved user experience and centralized management—allowing customers to manage servers in real time and Krypt to scale securely as demand grows.
