Case Study: Uila achieves high-performance, secure, and scalable SaaS delivery with Array Networks APV Series

A Array Networks Case Study

Preview of the Uila Case Study

Uila - Customer Case Study

Uila, a Silicon Valley software startup that launched an application-aware infrastructure performance management (AA‑IPM) solution in 2016, needed a high‑availability, cost‑efficient SaaS data center that could scale quickly, preserve limited bandwidth, and secure customer traffic without degrading performance. The team also required support for WebSocket traffic and hardware SSL offloading, but could not find a cost‑effective ADC that met those needs.

Uila deployed the Array Networks APV1600 (via partner aXcelerate), gaining WebSocket support, server load balancing with session persistence, and 2048‑bit hardware SSL offload. The appliance improved backend server performance by removing compute‑intensive SSL tasks, ensured seamless failover during maintenance or outages, reduced bandwidth and server load, and provided a scalable platform to support future growth.
