Texon L.P., an energy supplier, needed to replicate about 50 GB of corporate data daily from its Houston headquarters to a disaster‑recovery site in Conroe but faced high WAN latency and contention that left replicated data four to six hours out of date. The IT team wanted to keep replications current without buying additional bandwidth or disrupting the live network.

Texon deployed Array’s aCelera virtual appliance at both sites, leveraging existing virtual infrastructure and a roughly 30‑minute install per site. The result was an immediate 2x–5x reduction in replication times (e.g., MS Exchange replication rose from 9.8 GB to 15.4 GB while transfer time fell from 18 to 9.5 hours), meeting RTO/RPO targets without added bandwidth and at a lower cost than hardware alternatives.
