One of China’s largest oil and gas companies launched a nationwide prepaid fuel‑card program with an online portal for account management, recharges and rewards, projected to support up to 80 million registered users and ~300,000 daily logins. The business needed to deliver a consistently fast, reliable 24x7 service by efficiently using two leased links, balancing user traffic across many back‑end servers (Web, proxy, Tomcat) and maintaining high availability and low latency under peak loads.

Array Networks deployed six APV8600 ADCs (three redundant pairs) to provide link and server load balancing, hardware SSL acceleration (AppVelocity), connection multiplexing and memory caching across the DMZ and application tiers.
