Case Study: Hitachi achieves secure, scalable Federated Cloud remote access with Array Networks' vxAG

A Array Networks Case Study

Preview of the Hitachi Case Study

Hitachi - Customer Case Study

Hitachi Ltd. built the Federated Cloud to unify private, partner (AWS, Azure, Salesforce) and Hitachi‑managed cloud resources and needed to expand remote access from IT administrators to any employee. The key challenges were delivering large‑scale, high‑performance remote access with short provisioning lead times using virtual appliances, simplifying device and identity management, and adding two‑factor authentication and granular admin controls.

Hitachi chose Array’s vxAG virtual secure access gateway (SSL VPN L3) integrated with AD/RADIUS/LDAP, device‑ID and endpoint security, and DesktopDirect for VDI access. As a portal‑managed virtual appliance it enabled rapid provisioning, easy MFA integration, scalable secure access as a service, simplified administration and a monthly licensing model—driving wider adoption across enterprises and SMEs, improving security posture, and extending remote access to new applications.
