HealthNet, an Indianapolis Federally Qualified Health Center serving nearly 60,000 patients across 36 locations, had replaced an aging patient management system with eClinicalWorks PM/EMR but faced rising patient workloads and a new off-site disaster recovery center. To meet goals for performance, availability, user satisfaction and to align with its virtualization strategy, the organization required virtual (and eventually global) server load balancing.

HealthNet deployed redundant pairs of Array vAPV virtual ADCs in both production and the DR site (four vAPVs total), integrated them with SolarWinds via SNMPv3, and plans to enable GSLB for instant failover. The solution improved application performance and 24/7 availability for clinicians, simplified management for IT staff, preserved a high-quality user experience, and delivered real-time monitoring and reporting for proactive resource tuning.
