Atmosera - Customer Case Study

Atmosera, a Portland-based Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider that designs and operates Azure IaaS/PaaS environments for customers worldwide, needed a more reliable load-balancing solution after a vendor firewall update broke load-balancing features and caused a customer outage. To meet compliance needs and isolate services, Atmosera required virtual ADCs that ran on both Hyper‑V and VMware; stability and hypervisor compatibility narrowed their options to two vendors.

Atmosera selected Array Networks’ vAPV virtual ADCs for their cost, compatibility and proven stability. Deployment was straightforward and day‑to‑day operation is largely worry‑free; Atmosera has since deployed multiple vAPVs with n+1 high availability. The solution delivered faster application performance (acceleration, caching, compression, TCP multiplexing), rapid provisioning, scalable vCPU options, and added security via a kernel‑level WebWall and a proprietary SSL stack, giving dependable, high‑performance virtual load balancing for a wide range of customers.
