Arounda was engaged by Velox, an airline booking platform, to design a web application that would allow users to search, compare, and book flights without ever leaving a single-screen dashboard. The primary challenge was to integrate multiple complex steps like flight comparison and seat selection into one interface without causing cognitive overload for its core users, frequent and business travelers, while also ensuring high readability within a dark theme.

The solution implemented by Arounda was a highly intuitive web app where all booking steps functioned as integrated panels on a single screen, maintaining context throughout the user journey. This design, which included a visual map and color-coded seat selection, resulted in a 94% task completion rate during testing, an excellent System Usability Scale score of 87/100, and cut the average booking time to under two minutes.
