A Armor Case Study
MetricAid is a Canadian SaaS provider that builds performance- and preference-based physician scheduling software used by hospitals to reduce wait times and improve patient outcomes. With a very small IT team led by CTO/CPO Chris Jones, MetricAid had to meet strict Canadian data rules (PIPEDA/DPA and provincial laws) that require ePHI to be stored in Canada, and was spending 8–16 hours a week manually checking logs and managing vulnerabilities.
MetricAid deployed Armor Anywhere, a cloud security stack that integrates on top of its Canadian public cloud environment to provide continuous monitoring, vulnerability management and compliance support. The solution immediately reduced manual work, extended the team’s security capabilities, met Canadian hosting and privacy requirements, and let MetricAid refocus on improving its physician-scheduling product.
