Municipal Utility Company, a municipal public water and wastewater provider serving a large U.S. city, needed a better way to see its IT and OT environment, map network topology, classify assets, and improve vulnerability management without disrupting sensitive operations. The team wanted an easy-to-learn, agentless solution that could integrate with its existing technology stack while supporting critical infrastructure security.

The utility deployed Armis Centrix™ after a proof of concept, along with Armis Managed Threat Services and support from an Armis Resident Architect and Resident Engineer. Armis helped the customer identify about 38,000 assets, build 20+ custom dashboards, and surface 10 to 12 key vulnerabilities each week for remediation, while also resolving bandwidth and connectivity issues. As a result, Municipal Utility Company saved 3 to 5 hours per week on troubleshooting and better protected over 1 million gallons of water per day from cyber disruption.
