Armis Enables Full Asset Visibility and Policy Enforcement at Grand Canyon University

Grand Canyon University (GCU), a large private Christian university in Phoenix with a sprawling campus and multiple satellite locations, needed a better way to manage a complex mix of IT and IoT assets. After a vendor supply chain incident raised concerns, GCU realized it lacked a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory, clear visibility into asset communications, and a centralized way to enforce policies and prioritize vulnerabilities. It turned to Armis Centrix™ Asset Management and Security to help solve these challenges.

Armis deployed sensors in GCU’s data centers and integrated with 25 existing security and infrastructure tools, giving the university continuous asset visibility, vulnerability discovery, and policy enforcement from a single pane of glass. The results included 100% asset visibility, identification of 100+ assets lacking proper EDR agents, improved compliance and remediation prioritization, and faster purple team testing. With Armis, GCU strengthened its cybersecurity hygiene and gained a practical “record of truth” for its environment.
