Memphis Light Gas & Water (MLGW), the largest three-service municipal utility in the U.S., needed better visibility across its complex IT and IoT environment. The utility struggled with incomplete asset inventories, unmanaged and rogue devices, and limited ability to identify and remediate vulnerabilities, so it turned to Armis Centrix™ for Asset Management and Security.

With Armis, MLGW integrated the platform into 11 tools across its security stack to gain a single, real-time view of assets and risk. Armis more than doubled the number of known assets, increasing the count from 5,600 to over 13,000, and cut troubleshooting time from 30–45 minutes to two minutes or less, helping MLGW speed vulnerability mitigation and improve operational efficiency.
