Nutanix enterprise cloud solution deployed in Vhi Group to increase flexibility and boost performance

Vhi, Ireland’s largest health insurance provider, needed a better way to provide remote access to developers and testers. Its existing desktop PC approach gave administrators poor visibility and control, made enrolling new users time-consuming, and lacked the flexibility needed for growing remote access demands.

Arkphire deployed a Nutanix enterprise cloud solution, including VDI capabilities, to support more than 100 developers and testers. Arkphire got the new system up and running in under two weeks, reduced the physical footprint of data-centre desktops, improved availability and business continuity, and helped lower TCO; new remote users could be enrolled in minutes, and scaling now takes about 20 minutes instead of half a day.
