A Arkphire Case Study
Croke Park, the iconic 82,300-capacity home of Gaelic games and the GAA headquarters, needed a more stable, energy-efficient way to manage its core server infrastructure while supporting current needs and future growth. Arkphire helped the stadium address the challenge of complex, power-hungry physical servers by moving toward a centralized, private cloud approach.
Arkphire audited the existing infrastructure and, working with Croke Park IT, designed and implemented a virtualized private cloud solution with a single point of control, automatic failover, business continuity, and disaster recovery, supported by a 24/7/365 managed service. The result was a reduction in power use from about 70,080 kWh to 10,512 kWh annually, saving nearly 60,000 kWh, improving application management, and delivering significant carbon and sustainability benefits.
