Travel Site Eliminates Bots, Restores Business-Critical Booking Metric With Arkose Labs

Major Travel Booking Site, one of the world’s leading travel search and booking platforms, was overwhelmed by automated scraping—about 35 million malicious bot requests per day—which depressed its contractually important "look-to-book" ratio to around 1% and strained cloud infrastructure. To stop the attacks, the company engaged Arkose Labs and deployed the Arkose Labs Fraud & Abuse Platform.

Arkose Labs implemented detection on registration, login flows, and the site’s search API, serving real-time 3D anti-automation enforcement challenges that block bots while allowing legitimate users through uninterrupted. As a result, Arkose Labs reduced malicious bot traffic by more than 99%, enabled the look-to-book ratio to rise from ~1% to over 6%, and greatly reduced cloud server strain and related costs.
