Global Bank Shores Up Customer Data, Stops ATO Attacks

Major Global Bank, a worldwide financial institution with millions of customers and over $1 trillion in assets, faced persistent credential stuffing, account takeover (ATO) and new-account fraud that legacy text CAPTCHAs could not stop. To protect customer data while preserving a seamless digital experience and meeting federal banking requirements, the bank partnered with Arkose Labs and implemented the Arkose Bot Manager platform.

Arkose Labs deployed its Arkose Bot Manager with context-based Arkose MatchKey challenges and a dedicated managed-services team to target only high‑risk traffic, blocking nearly all malicious bot activity and forcing attackers to abandon costly campaigns. The result was a significant decrease in automated attacks (including ATO and new-account fraud), a drastically improved user experience versus the legacy approach, and continued compliance through Arkose Labs’ security and privacy certifications and ongoing threat intelligence.
