Owens Corning Goes for S&OP Excellence Together with Solventure and Arkieva

Owens Corning’s composites business struggled with global S&OP complexity: massive volumes of data scattered across spreadsheets, emails and notebooks, financials siloed from supply plans, and decision cycles that could take up to eight weeks. To address these challenges Owens Corning engaged Arkieva (with implementation support from Solventure) and adopted the Arkieva supply chain software, including the Arkieva Demand Planner and related planning modules.

Arkieva implemented a collaborative demand planning process, integrated Arkieva with four SAP instances, and standardized validated data across sales, planning, finance and logistics. As a result Arkieva helped cut the S&OP cycle from weeks to days, increased individual efficiency and analytical insight, and freed teams to focus on business improvements rather than data reconciliation—leading Owens Corning to purchase Arkieva as a core planning resource.
