King’s College London delivers 10 animation pairs for EEG research with Arke

King’s College London's RE-STAR research programme faced the challenge of creating a scientifically robust set of visual stimuli for a study on emotional regulation in adolescents. They needed carefully controlled animations to be used in EEG-based experiments with autistic, ADHD, and neurotypical young people, and they engaged Arke to produce this bespoke animation service.

Arke developed a suite of 10 pairs of standardized animations, each featuring a classroom scenario with a specific emotional cue. The solution involved a meticulous design process to ensure visual consistency and emotional accuracy, resulting in a powerful tool for the research. The animations enabled the RE-STAR team to successfully conduct their studies, explore emotional responses across different participant groups, and generate meaningful findings on neurodiversity and adolescent resilience.
